Why This Conference?
We’ve all heard the talk. We aspire to be a Clever Country, a global powerhouse in energy, agriculture, value-added resources, medical research and technology, and shared prosperity. But the reality is we are falling behind the advanced economies and lagging behind our near neighbours.
We have a problem of ‘cognitive dissonance’. We say we are an advanced economy and First World nation when all the evidence is pointing towards steady decline. As a nation, we seem determined to ignore the mounting evidence. This must change, culturally as well as institutionally.
But how? How do we drive the cultural and business revolution that the country needs? Who will drive the process of change?
The Program is available here (subject to revision).
We will bring together people from different sectors (who rarely talk to each other) to explore these issues:
Digital technology
Advanced manufacturing
Education
Indigenous entrepreneurship
Creatives and the Arts
Service delivery innovation
Housing innovation
Health and Ageing Innovation
Natural Disaster Prevention and Response
Innovation200 is a movement of values-driven Australians – founders,
builders, entrepreneurs, educators, and community leaders – united by a
shared belief in the power of service, character, and innovation to shape a better future for our nation.
